About the GOODRAM PX500 512GB G2 PCIe M.2 2280 SSD

HIGH PERFORMANCE

By developing an SSD using efficient memory in 3D TLC technology and the SMI 2263XT controller, GOODRAM has achieved high transfer parameters for the most demanding tasks.

NEW CAPABILITIES WITH NVMe

The NVM Express communication protocol was designed from the ground up to maximize the potential of flash-based storage. By incorporating it into the PX500 SSD, GOODRAM has been able to extract maximum performance from its memory, controller, and PCIe Gen 3 x4 interface. NVMe significantly reduces latency and queuing, providing much superior responsiveness compared to AHCI-based SSDs.

THERMAL EFFICIENCY

One concern with the M.2 SSD format is thermal throttling - a limitation of efficiency due to a very high ambient temperature. To address this, the PX500 features a special coating composed of copper and graphite. Thanks to this, effective heat dissipation is achieved.
