To keep you cool in all situations, ASUS IceCool thermal technology in Vivobook S 16X uses upgraded 8mm and 6mm heat pipes, plus an IceBlade fan that efficiently accelerates heat transfer. The 97-blade fan and impeller are made from liquid crystal polymer, which means they are lighter and thinner than regular fans. In addition, the IceBlade also uses a fluid dynamics bearing which is quieter and has less vibration than a regular bearing. The end result is that the powerful CPU can run comfortably with a total TDP of 45 watts in Performance mode.
