Based on the state-of-the-art 12nm FFN (NVIDIA FinFET) high-performance manufacturing process customized for NVIDIA to incorporate 384 CUDA cores, the NVIDIA T400 and NVIDIA 4GB GPUs (NVIDIA T400 series) are an efficient, single-slot professional CAD solution , DCC, financial services industry (FSI) and general visualization professionals looking to achieve great performance in a compact form factor. The Turing GPU architecture enables the biggest leap in real-time computer graphics rendering since the invention of programmable shaders by NVIDIA in 2001.

Advanced streaming multiprocessor (SM) architecture

Shared memory and L1 cache combined significantly improve performance, simplifying programming and reducing the tuning required to get the best application performance. Each SM contains 96 KB of L1 shared memory, which can be configured for various resources depending on the compute or graphics workload. For compute cases, up to 64KB can be allocated for L1 cache or shared memory, while graphics workload can allocate up to 48KB for shared memory; 32 KB for L1 and 16 KB for texture units. Combining L1 data cache with shared memory reduces latency and provides greater bandwidth.

Highest speed GDDR6 memory

Built with Turing's extensively optimized GDDR6 memory subsystem for the fastest graphics in the industry, the NVIDIA T400 has 2GB or 4GB of frame buffer capacity and 80GB/s of peak bandwidth, more than double of the transfer fee. The NVIDIA T400 series is the ideal platform for 3D professionals and highly demanding, multi-display environments with vast arrays of datasets.

Single statement, multiple threads (SIMT)

The new independent thread scheduling feature allows for more granular synchronization and cooperation between parallel threads, sharing resources between small jobs.

Mixed Precision Computing

Double throughput and reduce storage requirements with 16-bit floating-point precision computing to enable training and deployment of larger neural networks. With independent parallel integer and floating point data paths, Turing SM is also much more efficient in workloads with a combination of compute and addressing computations.
