Evolution to Future Wi-Fi

The DAP-2610 incorporates Wave 2 improvements over the AC Wi-Fi protocol. Highlights include MU-MIMO (Multiuser MIMO) which allows for data streams to be sent to multiple users simultaneously, increasing efficiency compared to the previous SU-MIMO (Single User MIMO), BandSteering, and BeamForming.

MU-MIMO + Beamforming + Band Steering

MU-MIMO technology allows multiple devices to receive Wi-Fi signal with maximum bandwidth simultaneously, increasing efficiency and connection performance. Beamforming (improves coverage and speed by directing Wi-Fi signal directly to each client device) and Band Steering (to automatically connect each device to the best band, optimizing load balance).

Versatile Installation

The DAP-2610 supports 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) to receive electrical power through the LAN network cable, thus facilitating its implementation. WDS support allows multiple DAP-2610s to be in Bridge mode with others, providing access to individual clients. Additionally, advanced functions such as load balancing and redundancy ensure a highly reliable wireless network.

Multiple Operating Modes

Configure the DAP-2610 enterprise Wi-Fi access point to adapt to Wi-Fi deployment needs with its 4 usage modes: Access Point (AP), Wireless Distribution System (WDS), WDS with AP, and Wireless Client.

RADIUS Dynamic VLAN

WPA/WPA2 Enterprise can connect to a RADIUS server or use the integrated RADIUS server so that users can create their accounts on the device itself. Network Access Protection (NAP) allows dynamic VLAN allocation for each authenticated wireless client. Up to 8 VLANs per band and bandwidth control for advanced guidance.

Guest Access Control

Provides guest access (Guest users) via the Captive Portal, also with RADIUS authentication and dynamic VLAN for guest bandwidth management.

Scalability, Flexibility, and Centralized Management

The CWM software is capable of managing up to 1000 access points located anywhere in the world, through its virtual controller system, regardless of the geography, position, or condition of the access point. Ideal for network administrators working in hospitals, hotels, and universities.
