This rugged outdoor switch is ideal for connecting devices on a mast, such as the mANTBox 52 or the LHG XL 52. Imagine a large campground with multiple guest houses, a food court, and the owner's cabin. With the FiberBox Plus, you can connect all these locations. One of the fiber connections can be used for the mANTBox base station, providing general connectivity for guests. Another connection can be directed to the owner's house, and a third to the food court, connecting payment and inventory servers.

Robust and durable outdoor protection

Normally, you would need a junction box to protect your setup. However, the FiberBox Plus comes with an IP66 water resistance rating. This ensures protection against strong jets of water in any direction. In the campground scenario, your installation is safe not only against the elements, but also against garden hose shenanigans. The rugged design makes it ideal for locations like damp basements, elevator shafts, port infrastructures, among others.

Efficient and reliable performance

With a 32-bit ARM architecture, the FiberBox Plus is powered by a 800 MHz dual-core CPU 98DX226S, ensuring solid performance. It runs on RouterOS v7 or SwOS, has 256 MB of RAM, and 16 MB of FLASH storage. The tested ambient temperature ranges from -40°C to 70°C, and its estimated lifespan is around 200,000 hours at 25°C.

Flexible power options

This switch offers three power inputs (DC jack, PoE-IN, and 2-pin terminal), with voltages ranging from 24 to 57 V. The maximum power consumption is 17 W, with 7 W without accessories. The PoE-IN support (802.3af/at) makes powering it with an input voltage of 42 to 57 V easy.

Versatile and durable connectivity

The FiberBox Plus features a 10/100/1000 Ethernet port and four SFP+ fiber ports, allowing for flexible connectivity. CPU temperature monitoring and CE, EAC, and ROHS certifications ensure the unit's durability and safety, which is also water-resistant with an IP66 rating.
