Reyee e-Lighten the Modular OLT and Network Core in One Solution

The Reyee e-Lighten Layer 3 Modular OLT Switch is an innovative solution that combines the power of a network core with the efficiency of an OLT (Optical Line Termination) in a compact 1 Rack Unit (1U) design. Designed for small to medium-scale PON (Passive Optical Network) networks, it offers high performance, simplified management, and full compatibility with the Reyee PON solution, allowing management of up to 1200 clients and 320 ONUs or access switches per device.

Scalability, Capacity, and Interfaces

With two MF6000M expansion slots, the e-Lighten allows flexible configuration through compatible modules, such as the MF6000M-16FS8GT2XS, MF6000M-16GT8SFP2XS, and MF6000M-24GT2XS. Connectivity options include up to 48 RJ45 10/100/1000 ports, 16 E-Lighten SFP 1G ports — usable as Ethernet ports or for passive splitting — and 4 SFP+ 10 Gbps uplink ports. The switching capacity reaches 216 Gbps, with a forwarding rate of 132 Mpps and a MAC table of 32K, ensuring fast and stable data flow even in high-density networks.

Advanced OLT Features

The system supports up to 16 PON ports with 32 ONUs per port, totaling 320 ONUs per device. It offers automatic transceiver negotiation, layer 2 isolation, static or dynamic bandwidth allocation (SBA/DBA), and real-time monitoring of temperature, voltage, and transmission/reception performance. Alarm functions and automatic ONU linking to the OLT simplify management and enhance network reliability.

Management, Redundancy, and Security

The Reyee e-Lighten supports up to 4094 VLANs and advanced Layer 3 network protocols, such as port aggregation, 802.1X authentication, IGMP Snooping (v1, v2, v3), IPv6, Port Mirroring, ACL, and CPU Protection Policy. Redundancy technologies, including STP, RSTP, and RLDP, ensure stability even in complex networks. The Virtual Cluster Switch (VCS) functionality allows management of up to two units as a single logical system, reducing administrative complexity. Management is possible via Web, Cloud, App, or SNMP, providing total flexibility. With 6 kV surge protection on ports and power supply, a consumption of 126 W, three internal fans, and two modular power supplies (compatible with RG-PA150I-FS), this equipment ensures reliability and operational continuity in demanding environments.
