Reaching your garden has never been so simple and precise: The innovative GARDENA Soil Humidity Sensor automatically ensures that your garden is watered as needed, saving water by measuring the current soil moisture and transmitting this information to your Water Control. If the soil is still sufficiently wet, the next watering cycle is omitted. In this way, your plants automatically receive reliable and accurate care while, as an additional bonus, you save water. The Sensor is compatible with almost all GARDENA Water Controls and Multi-channel Controls.

Efficient Gardening Technology

Due to its compact size, the battery-powered Soil Humidity Sensor not only can be used on lawns or flower beds, but is also suitable for smaller plant vases. To ensure that the sensor does not interfere with the maintenance of the lawn, it has an especially low height and a flat surface: both lawn mowers and robotic lawn mowers can easily pass over the sensor. The five-metre connection cable allows flexible installation and can be extended as required with an extension cable available as an accessory. So you have an overview of the watering, you can see the sensor readings in the connected Water Control. The low battery level of the two AA batteries (not included) is indicated both in Water Control and in the LED in the battery compartment. The batteries should last about a year in operation. In this way, Soil Humidity Sensor can always work reliably to ensure watering as needed and water saving.
