The smoke chamber is designed to completely prevent the entry of particles that may interfere with detection. An exclusive circulation mechanism ensures that the optical sensor has an unobstructed field of view to quickly identify combustion products in the air.
The smoke chamber integrates a dual-spectrum optical sensor with blue and infrared LEDs, each with different wavelengths. This technology directly measures the concentration of microparticles in the air, allowing the FireProtect 2 to distinguish the size of volatile particles and react only to smoke, ignoring steam and humidity.
After a thorough investigation into the combustion of materials, the HazeFlow 2 algorithm was developed — which analyzes and compares, in real time, data from the dual-spectrum optical sensor with specific patterns to distinguish smoke from steam or humidity. The alarm is activated immediately when the data indicates a real fire.
Carbon monoxide (CO) is colorless, odorless, and imperceptible without an appropriate detector, which can lead to silent poisoning.
