The smoke chamber is designed to completely prevent the entry of particles that may interfere with detection. An exclusive circulation mechanism ensures that the optical sensor has an unobstructed field of view to quickly identify combustion products in the air.

The smoke chamber integrates a dual-spectrum optical sensor with blue and infrared LEDs, each with different wavelengths. This technology directly measures the concentration of microparticles in the air, allowing the FireProtect 2 to distinguish the size of volatile particles and react only to smoke, ignoring steam and humidity.

Only reacts to real threats

After a thorough investigation into the combustion of materials, the HazeFlow 2 algorithm was developed — which analyzes and compares, in real time, data from the dual-spectrum optical sensor with specific patterns to distinguish smoke from steam or humidity. The alarm is activated immediately when the data indicates a real fire.

Protection against the invisible danger

Carbon monoxide (CO) is colorless, odorless, and imperceptible without an appropriate detector, which can lead to silent poisoning. Even at low concentrations, it can impact health, especially in people with chronic illnesses, pregnant women, the elderly, and children. Exposure to high levels can cause permanent damage or even be fatal in a short time. The FireProtect 2 emits a warning when the concentration reaches 50 ppm, even before symptoms appear. The built-in chemical sensor detects low levels accurately and remains effective for up to 10 years.

The FireProtect 2 is equipped with two A1R class thermistors to detect smoke-free fires. These sensors provide a significant advantage in detecting rapid temperature increases, such as when synthetic materials burn or in cases of slow combustion. As they are positioned outside the structure, they eliminate critical delays in detection.
