About the Hikvision Black Access Controller - DS-K2604T

Supported Readers and Protocols

This controller supports readers based on the Wiegand protocol, allowing direct wiring from each reader to the controller. It supports 4 readers for controlling entries and exits at each port and accepts biometric readers connected via RS485, allowing for BUS (daisy chain) connections. By supporting RS485, it also supports OSDP on the same connector, with the latter being configurable and allowing up to 8 readers using this method.

Door and Relay Management

The controllers allow for the management of multiple doors simultaneously through multiple relay outputs. This model has 4 relay outputs, configurable as dry contact (no voltage) or wet contact (with voltage).

Security Functions and Alarms

Using an access controller ensures functions such as opening all doors when a fire signal is received or triggering an alarm when a forced door opening is detected. Thanks to its inputs and outputs, managing these functions becomes simpler.

Configurable Advanced Functions

It includes advanced configurable functions such as anti-passback technology, which prevents a person from passing through if they are already inside, mantraps (a double-door system that allows one person to pass at a time), or capacity control, which prevents new access when a defined limit is reached.

Software Configuration

Through the iVMS-4200 software, it is possible to configure users, schedules, and access groups, as well as special functions, relay opening times, or reader reading times.
