This new generation TL-SG1008D 8-port Gigabit Desktop Switch features the most innovative energy-efficient technologies that can greatly expand the capacity of your network with much less power. It automatically adjusts power consumption according to link status and cable length to limit your network's carbon footprint.

Turn off idle doors

When a computer or network equipment is turned off, the corresponding port on a traditional switch will continue to consume a considerable amount of energy. The TL-SG1008D can automatically detect the link status of each port and reduce the power consumption of ports that are idle, resulting in a reduction of up to 80% in energy use.

Easy to use

The automatic features of this gigabit switch make installation plug and play and hassle free. No configuration is required. Auto MDI / MDIX eliminates the need for crossover cables. Automatic negotiation on each port detects the link speed of a network device (10, 100 or 1000 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance.
