About Seeds of Spinach Matador 8g

Annual spinach with fast growth and high productivity. Leaves broad, compact and dark green. Delight yourself with the young leaves or the more ripe green leaves. Sow every two weeks to reap throughout the year.

Sowing

It is made in the final place with subsequent thinning until reaching the desired plant density, and it must be done when the plants have 4 to 5 leaves.

Ground

It is a demanding crop, and the soils must be fertile, deep, well drained and rich in organic matter. The pH must be between 6.2 and 7.6.

Climate

It is a crop that adapts well to low temperatures, being the ideal range between 15 and 26°C. Temperatures above 26°C hinder germination.

Harvest

Harvesting should never be carried out after watering, as the leaves become turgid and tear more easily.

Post-harvest

The culture is generally conserved at 0°C with 95 to 98% relative humidity.
